The Landmark expects the same high standards of excellence from its suppliers as it offers its guests. The management of the hotel looks for prompt service, attention to detail, top quality in the goods and services it buys and intelligent support at all times. The only way to build confidence with the management is to comply with enthusiasm and to deliver on time and to cost.
Andrew made his mark with The Landmark even before
he launched his own company. His biggest assignment
was to co-ordinate the change of the hotel's banqueting chinaware from Royal Worcester to Royal Doulton. Having earned the management's confidence, the hotel remained loyal to Andrew when he struck out on his own.
He continues to serve the hotel on a regular basis, sourcing and supplying giveaway items, clothing and uniforms, in-room facilities, catering equipment and conference room furniture and fittings.
Sourcing is immensely stimulating, says Andrew,
it can take you anywhere in the world. I did not have
to go far to find a dance floor for The Landmark but
that particular journey also expanded my portfolio of contacts immensely.
